Research Conflict of Interest Policies
All conflicts of interest in research are reviewed by the Conflict Management Unit (CMU) of the Office of Research Compliance. Conflicts of Interest considered significant will be reviewed by the Research Conflicts of Interest Committee. For further information please see the Conflict Management Unit website. Consists of two policies:
- Policy on Conflicts of Interest in Research and Sponsored Programs- Replaces the Investigator Financial Interest Disclosure and Conflict of Interest Policy dated October 1, 1995. This Policy applies to all Investigators participating in a Sponsored Project conducted at or under the auspices of the Medical Center.
- Policy on Institutional Conflicts of Interest in Human Subjects Research- This Policy applies to financial interests that NYU or the Medical Center may have in human subjects' research being conducted at the institution.
